I recently watched the Valentino documentary ‘Last Emperor’ for the second time, and was inspired all over again. Valentino is the quintessential, gently mad genius and the scenes with him and his lifelong lover, Giancarlo, are touching and hilarious at the same time. If you are female and have a single fashion bone in your body, you will swoon over the orgy of dresses. Oh, to even touch them, let alone wear one…
I was moved to tears watching the breathtaking aerial ballet scenes, and turned off the television wanting more, more, more! Now, with the launch of the Valentino virtual museum, each and every Valentino dress, image and story is available at the touch of a finger, any time of the day or night.
